Project Description

woodKil

woodKil is a wedge for felling plants specifically designed to replace wedges made of iron or “hard” wood usually used for this type of intervention.

The product is born from the comparison and collaboration with various forest enterprises; together with these Bipiesse has defined the technical and functional characteristics of the new wedge, developing an innovative model in superior quality plastic.

woodKil has a surface and an angle such that it can be inserted in the cut made with a chainsaw.

The insertion is facilitated by the initial angle; the wedge is held in place by small pyramidal reliefs which make rejection difficult and therefore favor the insertion stroke.

The material is made of brightly colored plastic to make it easier to see.

Despite the superior qualities of resistance, the wedge does not damage the saw blade in the case of accidental contact.
